Business Connections, Weekly Networking

• Meet every Wednesday from 8 am to 9:30 am
• Location: Central Florida Zoo

Mission: To help members grow their businesses through building relationships, networking, referrals and linking of partners.  Meeting includes introductions, keynote speakers; business spotlights and business to business swaps (a special twist to learn more about our members).  Average attendance of 70 to 80 businesses.  Free benefit to all chamber members.

Mission: The Ambassadors serve as the vital link between our chamber and the membership. These individuals are dedicated to the success of our organization. Their role includes direct contact with members and providing support to the Chamber with participation at monthly meetings and events.

Education Committee

• Meet the 4th Tuesday of Every Month @ 8:00 am, Greater Sanford Regional Chamber Board Room

Mission: To promote excellence in education through volunteerism by the business community. The Committee supports the county school system throughout the year through Teacher and Student Recognition programs, Job Shadowing Programs, Education Fairs, and by providing educational opportunity for our students through awarding Scholarships.

Let’s Think Green Committee

• Meet the 1st Tuesday of every month @ 8:00 a.m., Greater Sanford Regional Chamber Board Room

Mission: To provide resources to Chamber members interested in being environmentally responsible and focus on encouraging sustainability through awareness, education and recognition of those businesses that are part of the solution. The Green Committee will work to form partnerships within the community in organizations such as the Florida Native Plant Society; Habitat for Humanity, Orlando Business Journal.

Special Events Committee & Fundraising Committee

• Meet Wednesday’s (dates vary- please call the Chamber Office) @ 3:30 to 5:00 pm, Greater Sanford Regional Chamber Board Room

Mission: The committee is responsible to identify objectives and requirements that must be met to produce and execute fund raising events and solicit sponsorships and donations for each event. They plan the scope and format/theme of special events and coordinate all services and marketing and promotion.

Membership Committee

• Meet the 2nd Monday of every month @ 9:00 am, Greater Sanford Regional Chamber Board Room

Mission: Membership Ambassadors are the vital link between our Chamber and prospective members. The Membership Ambassadors are dedicated to the success of our organization through attracting and increasing membership. The committee creates and plans several mini-membership drives throughout the year.

ICE - Women Supporting Women Networking Group, Inspire, Connect, Educate

Meet the 4th Friday of every other month from 8:00 am to 9:30 pm, Various Locations

• Mission: Provide a monthly breakfast networking meeting. The mission of the breakfast is to provide an opportunity to network with professional women in the area and offer Women in Business education in areas of professional growth, confidence, time management, balance of work & home, health & fitness and leadership in order to achieve success.
