William Shakespeare created the world’s greatest love story with "Romeo and Juliet," a tragedy that follows two star-crossed lovers caught in a web of factionalism as their love pits them against the feuding houses of Capulet and Montague. Against this fractious backdrop, young love, beautifully expressed through Shakespeare’s language, blossoms and grows. Romeo and Juliet have become synonymous with romance and have inspired and moved theater audiences for centuries.
