Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens

Check out what happening at the Zoo!

World Rhino Day- This day is a day to learn about the conservation struggles of the world's 5 species of rhinos. The Central Florida Zoo houses 2 Greater-one horned rhinos, native to India. Come participate in games, crafts, and more to learn more about these amazing creatures. This event is included in general Zoo admission; additional fees may
apply for certain activities. For more information, please call 407.323.4450.

Annual Pass Holder Perks-
We are happy to announce a special benefit for our Annual Pass Holders this fall! Annual Pass Holders can enjoy a special Buy One Get One Free offer to visit the
Orlando Science Center from September 1, 2016 through November 30, 2016.
All you need to do is show your valid Zoo Annual Pass, along with a valid ID to
take advantage of this benefit. For more information on the Orlando Science Center's
hours and prices please visit www.osc.org.

Bat House Building Workshop-
Bats are underrated! Besides being the only mammal that flies, most North American bats are nocturnal insectivores, which means they feed on night-flying insects -especially mosquitoes. Encouraging bats to nest near your house is a natural way
to keep your yard bug-free. Supplies will be provided. Just bring a hammer! Go online
or call 407.323.4450 ext. 123 to make reservations by September 23 to secure a
bat house kit.

Education Adventures- Sprouts & Seedlings: These nature play programs are for children ages 2-5. Classes are available year-round.
Night Hike*
Come explore the Zoo at night! Night Hike is on September 17 at 7:30 pm. Registration
is required by September 9.

There is much more going on! Visit: http://www.centralfloridazoo.org/
