Emcie Graphic Design is now Emcie Media.  The official name of the business remains Emcie Graphic Design LLC.  But the company is now doing business as Emcie Media.  Why change the name?  “Because as our business has grown and evolved, graphic design - the actual design of graphic images - has become a fairly small part of what we do,” explains Marianne Carlson, the company’s lead designer.  “Website design has always been the core of our business, and that remains our primary focus.  But we have found that our website clients need more to enhance their corporate image beyond a ‘Simply Brilliant!’ website.”   Emcie Media is now able to offer additional services that can help enhance and strengthen their clients’ corporate image and their company brand.  “With ‘Simply Brilliant!’ brochures, business cards, PowerPoint presentations, corporate manuals, and a wide range of other marketing and branding services, Emcie Media is positioned to help them take their business to a higher level.” 

Emcie Media has partnered with a number of other members of the Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce to provide exceptional service and superior products for those businesses that want to take their corporate image up a notch.  “We think of our company as a five-star service provider,” Carlson says.  “When you work with Emcie, you’re working with the best.  Superior craftsmanship and a level of service that you don’t often find in our industry.”

The company is also celebrating the publication of Carlson’s first book, Websites for Small Business:  Good Advice in Plain English for the Small Business Owner.  The author explains, “The book came out of a need I’ve seen in the business community for some honest advice about website pricing, hosting, and a wide variety of other topics.  People just don’t have the basic knowledge they need, and that puts them at a real disadvantage.  I wrote this book to help them level the playing field.”
