Dinamo Brown’s Gymnastics is now owned and operated by husband and wife, Alexandre and Lidia Tkatchev. We offer recreational gymnastics classes for children, as well as tumbling, Mom and Me, and Tiny Tots programs. We have competitive level gymnasts competing throughout the state.

Both Alexandre and Lidia are Olympic Champions and hold the highest awards possible in the sport of Gymnastics. Alexandre excelled in the 1980 Moscow Olympics winning a gold medal on parallel bars and a gold medal with his team. He has a gold medal from the World Cup on high bar in 1977, as well as a gold medal in the World Championships on the bars and team in 1981. Also 2 gold medals with his team events. He also in All-Around European Champion in 1981. Winner of gold medals in bars in 1979 and 1981. In 1977 a gold medal on floor exercise.

Alexandre is most famous for his “Tkatchev” which is a high bar routine created by and named after him. This move is one of the most famous and difficult moves and is seen in almost every high level and Elite bar routine by men and women throughout the world.

Lidia is a 1975 World Cup Silver Medalist and a 1976 Olympic Team member. She was also a 1975 Russian National Champion.

Before moving to Florida in July 2009, they resided in Campbell, CA and trained compulsory and optional gymnasts at West Valley Gymnastics. They have one son, Serguei (France’s Champion gymnast in 1999) who resides in Montpeller, France.
