Let's Think Green Committee
The Let’s Think Green Committee is dedicated to providing resources to The Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce members interested in being environmentally responsible. We focus on encouraging sustainability through awareness, education and recognition of those businesses that are part of the solution. Our mission is to serve as a gateway for community improvement, particularly as it relates to the environment through resources and projects.
Green Business Recognition Program
Be part of the solution and join The Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce Green Business Recognition Program. Download the Green Business Recognition form (click here). Everything you do to help make your business more environmentally friendly will earn you "Points". Each action has points associated with it. The "Action & Points" will allow us to objectively determine just how GREEN your company is. Please list each action and feel free to add something that you do, that we may have missed, that makes you a GREEN company.
Once you have completed your tasks return the form to the The Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce office. The Committee will determine the point value based on cost and difficulty in performing tasks and their value to the environment.
If you achieve more than 350 points you will earn:
