smoothie, opened its doors to the first lifestyle
center in Sanford. Owners, Stephen and Elizabeth
Tibstra welcomed the Sanford Chamber at a Ribbon
Cutting on May 5th to celebrate their new Smoothie
King at 1629 Rinehart Road, in the Shoppes at
Rinehart.
Smoothie
King offers more than 40 smoothies made to order
with real fruit, all-natural juices, and a functional
mix of vitamins and nutrients to fit every need
or lifestyle. Whether a guest is looking to
gain or lose weight, build muscle, boost immunity
or complement a workout, Smoothie King's trained
team members can help educate and help guests
choose a smoothie right for them. Smoothie King
also offers an array of healthy living products,
including energy bars, snacks and vitamin supplements.

The
Tibstras moved to Sanford more than two years
ago and are expecting a baby soon. The couple
decided to leave their former jobs in Orlando
— Stephen was in finance, and Elizabeth
was a certified public account — to franchise
a business in a town they find more suitable
to raising a family and calling "home."
Because eating organic foods and maintaining
a healthy diet has always been a part of the
Tibstras' lifestyle, the transition with Smoothie
King can only be described as "smooth."
Store
hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 10
p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday,
10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
